Harris is serving freshly roasted East Anglian pork with sage & onion stuffing, homemade apple sauce and crunchy cracking served in fresh locally made bread roll.

Saturday 4th June during Leiston's Jubilee Weekend is finishing with a free Cinema in the Park, showing Encanto! The movie will start around 8:30pm and will be followed by fireworks!

As a special treat for Leiston's Jubilee Weekend (Friday 3rd - Saturday 4th June), Leiston will have FREE PARKING donated by the East Suffolk Council.

In addition to free parking available at the Waterloo Centre beside the Park, there will be free parking 1-6pm on both days at all of the East Suffolk Council car parks in the town.

SARS have kindly agreed to come to Leiston's Jubilee Event on Saturday 4th of June -- Thank You SARS!

Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) is a local voluntary emergency medical charity operating in Suffolk and its border areas. We are mobilised by the ambulance service, as an enhanced resource, to attend patients in need of urgent, specialist medical care before they reach hospital. This could be someone suffering serious trauma or a life-threatening medical illness.

2022 marks our 50th year of service, quite an achievement! Since we started in May 1972, volunteer SARS Doctors and Paramedics have answered over 19,000 calls for their assistance at serious incidents across Suffolk.

We are delighted to be taking part in Leiston’s Jubilee Weekend, please come over and say hello and meet our team. We wish everyone a safe and happy event, thank you for your support.

The Eleventh Hour are a three piece alternative/new wave/punk band, performing all their own material,
combining a mixture of hard hitting lyrics with raw, but melodic tunes.
Adam, Matt & Vince are just three ordinary chaps who love making a racket !

Another fantastic band featuring at the music festival day of Leiston's Jubilee Weekend on Friday 3rd June is SilMor -- a local band focusing on traditional music and Americana.

SilMor are an increasingly popular local band. We have all played together in various combinations over the years in various bands. We have come together to play Irish, Scots and English traditional jigs, reels, polkas etc and Americana and original songs. The musicians are : Gary Morling guitar, mandolin and vocals. Garry Silbert Banjo, Bodhran, bones. Nicola Mason fiddle, mandolin and vocals. Brian Barker melodeon and shakers. On Saturday 4th June we have a number of local youngsters performing for us at Leiston's Jubilee Weekend. Come see our freshest local talent!

Lily Kemp is a 14 year old singer/songwriter from Leiston. She has played guitar from the age of 8 and performs a mixture of her own material and also various covers by artists such as Arctic Monkeys, Declan McKenna and Sam Fender.

The Royal British Legion Band is going to take par

The Royal British Legion Band is going to take part in the Parade on Saturday 4th June for Leiston's Jubilee Weekend, then lead us in some festive ceremonies for the Queen later on in the day.

The Band of The Royal British Legion, Leiston dates back to 1859. The band today is a social brass band run entirely by volunteers, most of whom also play in the band. Based in and around Saxmundham, Handle With Care are a four piece band who play a range of well known material from the 60’s onwards. So whether it’s songs from the Beatles to the stones, Sweet, T.Rex, or even Dire straits, Free, Bob Seger, or Tom Petty, you’re sure to know and love them.

Amy Beaton is a confectioner specialising in organic chocolates, nougat, marshmallows, fudge, patisserie and more. This photo is from her Easter selection, but for Leiston's Jubilee Weekend she'll be making a jubilee inspired range. For instance, empire patisserie biscuits, floral brownies infused with pimms for the music festival day, and lots of union Jack inspired chocolates and confections.

Our headline act for the music festival on Friday 3rd June is The Austin Beats! The music festival is day one of Leiston's two-day Jubilee Weekend celebrations.

Since forming in 2005, The Austin Beats have become one of the top sixties cover bands in the UK. The show is a tribute to the 1960's featuring songs made famous by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, plus many more! This iconic era of music is loved by audiences of all ages. Billy Hunt is joining many other great musicians for a music festival as part of Leiston's Jubilee Weekend. Come see him play at 1pm on Friday the 3rd June, then join us for more festivities on Saturday 4th June.

Billy Hunt started his musical career doing open mic nights and writes his own music, including his newest single, Intoxicate.
